A professional magazine for ceramic wedding band

The word"ceramics"comes from the Greek keramikos,meaning"pottery",which in turn comes from keramos meaning"potter's clay." Most traditional ceramic products were made from clay (or clay mixed with other materials),shaped and subjected to heat, and tableware and decorative ceramic wedding band are generally still made like that.In modern ceramic engineering usage,ceramics is the art and science of making objects from inorganic, non-metallic materials by the action of heat.

Established in 1990 by Janet Mansfield in Sydney, Australia,ceramic wedding band:Art and Perception aims to set the international standard as a high quality magazine dedicated to ceramic art. With a total of 120 pages, it contains approximately 23 substantial articles and regular features on a broad range of ceramics related subjects with excellent color photographs throughout. More than 12,000 copies are distributed worldwide each quarter.

Now young people get married like ceramic wedding band as a very important part for their ceremony. But how to choose, where to buy? They do not know. This magazine give young people a good guide.

In 1995, a companion magazine, Ceramics TECHNICAL was launched. This magazine focuses on technical issues in the field of ceramic wedding band including research, culture and strategy.

Elaine Olafson Henry, the editor of Ceramics:Art and Perception and Ceramics TECHNICAL has had over 20 years of experience as a ceramic wedding band artist,lecturer and writer.She earned her Master of Fine Arts Degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and served as the President of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts(NCECA) from 2004-2006. She is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics and her work is represented in international collections and publications.
